The third Bobbsey Twins book, in which Bert, Nan, Freddie and Flossie come home from the country to find their cat Snoop missing and a runaway circus dog on the doorstep. School brings a feud with Danny Rugg, a fire at the boathouse that Bert is blamed for, and a coat button that settles who really set it.
