Blake's illuminated poem of 1789. Thel, youngest daughter of the vales of Har, asks the Lilly, the Cloud, the Worm and the Clod of Clay why anything that lives should fade, and each answers that it is given away and so is not wasted. Granted a look at her own grave plot, she hears a voice out of the pit and flees back to Har. Four plates, with Thel's Motto.
